Welcome to The Office of the Attorney General
The Office of the Attorney General is eager to serve you and all stakeholders in our nation in general in keeping with our mandate as prescribed in the Constitution of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Attorney General’s Act and other laws of the Federation. This office plays a significant role in the administration of Justice. As such, the Attorney General’s Chambers contributes to the maintenance of the rule of law in the Federation.
In accordance with Section 64 of the Constitution of St. Kitts and Nevis, the Attorney General is the principal legal adviser to the Government of St. Christopher and Nevis and is responsible for advising the various government ministries and institutions
Mission Statement
It is the principal Mission of this Office to provide legal advice and services to and on behalf of the Crown and to conduct and regulate all litigation for and against the Crown or any Ministry or Agency of Government.
